Visionary Broadband is investing in building an entirely new fiber infrastructure in Florence, creating more than 1,200 available connections capable of delivering 5-gigabit internet speeds in the first phase of the project.
Construction is now underway and will be completed by late February. Once construction is finished, homes and businesses within the project areas will have the opportunity to opt in for faster internet service.

The fiber network will provide the capacity needed for remote work, online learning, telehealth and business growth while supporting Florence’s long-term economic development goals.

It also offers STEM, cyber and robotics clubs for local students, which have placed nationally in cyber competitions.
