GILLETTE, Wyo. (June 29, 2026) — Hundreds of homes and businesses across Campbell County will soon have access to high-speed fiber internet as Visionary Broadband adds 634 new homes to the company’s 5-gigabit coverage area.
Four projects are already underway throughout the county, including sections near Rozet, Eight Mile, Green Valley Estates and Rattle Snake Valley. All areas are scheduled to be completed in July.
The new connections are partially funded by the Wyoming Business Council through the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) grant program. Visionary is providing matching funds for the BEAD-funded homes and is building fiber to the 192 of those homes out of pocket.
This expansion strengthens Visionary’s presence in Campbell County, complementing its existing fiber network in and around Gillette and Wright, Wyoming. The project follows fiber expansion in Gillette last year, which increased the company’s total number of service locations in the area to more than 9,000 homes and businesses.
Visionary, a Gillette-based company, is set to surpass 100,000 fiber connections to homes and businesses across the Rocky Mountain region by the end of 2026.
