EVANSTON, Wyo. (April 28, 2026) — Visionary Broadband has begun work on its first round of network construction in Evanston, bringing fiber internet infrastructure to the community.
The four-phase expansion will deliver a total of 2,228 new connections, with these phases set to conclude in August. Once complete, homes and businesses with access will have the option to choose a faster, more reliable 5-gigabit internet network through Visionary.
“The City Council and leadership recognized the importance of this project and the benefits it will bring to the entire community,” said Brian Worthen, CEO of Visionary Broadband. “Our presence in the area will improve internet service overall, as expectations and options grow.”
Reliable high-speed internet is essential in an increasingly digital world, supporting remote work, online learning, telehealth and business growth.
These projects are fully funded by Visionary, reflecting the company’s continued mission of bringing access to future-proof digital infrastructure across rural Wyoming and the American West.
