Setup a PPPoE connection on your computer

Windows 7/8/10

  1. Click start button in the lower left corner of your screen
  2. Search for and click on Control Panel
  3. Click on Network and Internet
  4. Click on Network and Sharing Center
  5. Click on Setup a new connection or network
    1. Select Connect to the Internet and click Next
    2. Select Broadband (PPPoE)
    3. Set the User Name to your PPP Username (this is the same as your billing login.)
    4. Set the Password to your PPP Password (this is the same as your billing login.)
    5. Checkmark Remember this password
    6. Set the Connection name to VCN PPPoE
  6. Click on Connect


macOS

  1. Click on the Apple in the top left corner of your screen
  2. Click on System Preferences
  3. Click on Network
  4. Select Ethernet on the left column
    1. In the Configure IPv4 box, select Create PPPoE Service
    2. Set the Service Name to VCN PPPoE and click Done
    3. Set the Account Name to your PPP Username (this is the same as your billing login.)
    4. Set the Password to your PPP Password (this is the same as your billing login.)
    5. Checkmark Remember this password
  5. Click on Connect
