What is DSL?
Digital Subscriber Line, or DSL, is an Internet connection that enters your home or business on a phone line. Asynchronous DSL (ADSL) rides on your existing phoneline. Synchronous DSL/SDSL/g.SHDSL uses a dedicated phone line included in the service price.
ADSL is most appropriate for home and small business, SDSL or g.SHDSL is most appropriate for medium to large businesses. DSL is limited to distance and copper line performance. ADSL provides a faster downstream rate than upstream, from 1.5Mbps to 15Mbps. SDSL or g.SHDSL provides the same downstream and upstream rates, from 128Kbps to 2.3Mbps.

What if I Don't Qualify?
Of the many tools that exist to qualify your line for DSL, none are entirely accurate. In many situations, these tools report that you cannot get DSL when your location qualifies. We double-check all orders once received to ensure you qualify at your location. If you have had trouble ordering DSL in the past, ask us for a thorough test email@example.com
