Visionary will conduct an audit of your current business connections, your existing and upcoming needs, and your security and redundancy concerns to provide you with a WAN design that you can rely on. Our WAN design staff works intimately with customers to ensure the design meets your needs, and meets guidelines set for your type of business.  Visionary offers router and switch support at a labor rate of $80/hr. We are fluent in Adtran, Cisco, Foundry, Marconi, Netgear, Siemens, Sonicwall, Watchguard, and other equipment commonly used in the telecommunications field. We offer Cisco maintenance contracts at reasonable monthly rates that provide your business with emergency overnight replacement, ongoing support and maintenance upgrades, and more. |  |   T1s transfer data over a telco DS1 carrier. A T1 is a leased line that enters the customer premises on two pairs of copper or a combination of copper and fiber to a Network Interface Unit, or NIU. The customer must utilize a router with a CSU/DSU, which connects to the NIU and adopts the DS1 standard to a usable connection. A T1 supports speeds from 64k to 1544k, or 1.5Mbps. T1s can be provisioned as clear-channel, frame relay (full or fractional) or ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode). Most often, a T1 is terminated in Visionary's fiber core. Visionary can offer T1s from a variety of carriers and telcos, and provide T1 services in the most rural markets.
Installation and equipment costs varies based on current promotion and network layout. Visionary can accommodate customer routers if they are T1-capable. | |  Visionary designs each WAN with the needs of the customer in mind. We may use a combination of DSL and T1 to achieve redundancy, or even suggest an alternate ISP for the failover link. Our relationships with other regional and national ISPs provides Visionary with the tools to offer the most effective redundancy to our business customers. There are methods to achieve a level of redundancy while providing more bandwidth to a business location. Visionary's experience in this field is beneficial to our business customers.
